Our monthly "Affirmation Conversations," held the last Thursday of each month at 8 pm Eastern via Zoom, aims to inspire all participants to reflect on the "Affirmation of the Month." Attendees are invited to share their journeys to motivate and empower one another. This safe space encourages all to find purpose and state action. Attendees are encouraged to participate within their comfort level--camera on or off, share or receive--it's YOUR choice! We are a safe space!
An hour with us could change your whole life!
As of January 2023, all future meetings will be held via the Clubhouse platform.
June's "Affirmation Conversation" aimed to inspire participants to change, grow, and improve by consciously choosing their daily, weekly, or even monthly choices and directing their habits toward a future. We explored things that help us grow and reminded ourselves that we cannot succeed with a fixed mindset.
Due to scheduling conflicts, there was no meeting held during the month of May
April's "Affirmation Conversation" aimed to inspire participants to build their mental and emotional strength. We discussed resilience; the 4 C's of mental toughness (control, commitment, challenge, and confidence); techniques for developing mental toughness; and finding the strength to face any challenge that may come our way.
March's "Affirmation Conversation" aimed to inspire and increase confidence in all participants. Through self-esteem and confidence-boosting activities and dialogue, attendees were encouraged to identify the qualities and abilities they possess that make them feel most confident and areas in which they lack confidence. Factors that contribute to low self-esteem were also identified and tips to boost that lack of esteem were shared.
February’s “Affirmation Conversation" aimed to help us identify our goals and dreams, things we want to do or try, good habits we want to add to our lives, and those we want to get rid of. We walked participants through the creation of their own vision boards which included a holistic wellness approach that identified physical, mental/emotional, social, spiritual, intellectual, occupational, environmental, and financial goals.
January’s “Affirmation Conversation" aimed to help participants identify those things for which they are thankful and to find ways to express their gratitude--which can be easier to do than we think. This month’s meeting aimed to encourage all to be more appreciative and kinder (to ourselves and to others) and to identify the good things we have going on in our lives, despite the not so favorable things we may be going through.
November's "Affirmation Conversation" aimed to empower all participants to realize that they are resilient, tough, and strong. Although we may find ourselves in situations that challenge us, we have the power to overcome and conquer. No matter the challenge, we can commit to not letting tough times break us. At the end of this hour, participants should be able to tell themselves and believe that they are UNBREAKABLE.
October’s “Affirmation Conversation" aimed to empower all participants to discover and strengthen their innate abilities and apply those in their life to achieve success. Participants were invited to share their journeys, failures, successes, and in-betweens—to hopefully motivate and empower someone else on the call. At the end of this hour, we aimed for all to realize and to truly believe that they are capable of more than they know—believe it, achieve it, receive it!
Our inaugural "Affirmation Conversation" aimed to inspire all participants to reflect on their personal transformations beginning with their past selves, current selves, and the self they aim to be in the future. We are all a "work in progress" and our best selves are yet to come!
